NOTES

BOW
COVER: Bottom of bo forward, catch with left hand, end with left hand over head both thumbs down.

1. Left foot out to horse stance, right collar bone strike.
2. Thrust to the neck. “ki-ai!”
3. Look left. Left foot fade to cat, ankle block.
4. Slide step, strike instep, slide back.
5. Right step to right walking stance, collar bone strike.
6. Left step to left horse stance, down block to the left side.
7. Look right. Drop right arm, left arm high. Left foot slides up to right walking stance, block right, left arm over head.
8. No step. Right collar bone strike.
9. Left step to left horse stance, down block to the left side.
10. Drop right arm, left arm high. Right step to right walking stance. Block right, left arm over head.
1. Right collar bone strike.
2. Left hand forward to chin strike, right hand holding bo over left shoulder. Right collar bone strike, left collar bone strike, right collar bone strike.
3. Right hand: turn hand over (switch grip). Left hand: turn hand over (switch grip). Look left, pivot both feet, block left right arm high (both thumbs will be down if you switched grips correctly).
4. Switch grip in both hands, right step to right walking stance, block right, left arm high, both thumbs down.
5. No step, right collar bone strike.
6.Right foot step to right horse stance. Chamber bo in front of chest.
7. Shuffle forward and thrust. Shuffle backward and recoil weapon.
8. Look left. Switch grip in both hands. Slide right foot up to left walking stance, block left, right arm high, both thumbs down.
9. Switch grip in both hands. Step right to right walking stance, block right, left arm high, both thumbs down.
10. No step, right collar bone strike.
1. Right step to right horse stance. Chamber bo in front of chest.
2. Shuffle forward and thrust. Shuffle backward and recoil weapon.
3. Look left. Switch grip in both hands. Slide right foot up to left walking stance, block left, right arm high, both thumbs down.
4. Switch grip in both hands. Step right to right walking stance, block right, left arm high, both thumbs down.
5. No step, right collar bone strike.
6. Power block: curl right arm in middle-block position. Bo tip moves clockwise in a power block/disarm motion.
UP: Left hand over head both thumbs down.
POSITION: Drop left hand, return bo to side.
